Our Mission

The ARK of Veterans Australia has established this Ukraine charity to facilitate the development for implementation of a Holistic well-being system of Regional Allied Health including Psychological, Medical and Remedial, Social Family Welfare and Vocational-Education (Voc-Ed) support. Included in this project is the Rehabilitative Respite system for the veterans and their families to work together as a family unit as they all seek to enable Veterans to regain their physiological, mental, emotional, and spiritual health to reintegrate back into the Ukrainian workforce in a meaningful role that supports their families, and their communities and helps to maintain family values.

The objective of our organisation is to support Ukrainian Veterans and their families who have been impacted by the war in Ukraine. We volunteer and provide services in a Christian Outreach program. Our moral standard is held as a top priority.
Our Mission:
How do we achieve this mission?
1. We achieve our mission through our Holistic Well-being Vocationally based Support System,
2. coupled with the existing Ukraine rehabilitation respite systems and in turn through our own designed,
3. Veterans Training Resettlement Action Cooperative (V.T.R.A.C.)
Our Goals:
A priority of The ARK of Veterans is to create a trusted environment where we can assist Veterans suffering from PTSD, other psychological and traumatic injuries, and social disassociation to lead relatively normal lives. We accomplish this through the construction of Veterans Well-being centres. A place for Veterans and their families to attend and seek guidance, support, and friendship. We choose a path of equality for female and male veteran and their families, or those in anyway mentally or physically traumatized, all people will be recognised as equal in this outreach,

To develop a network of like-minded volunteers working both from within and from outside the Veterans Well-being centres. We will provide the CWC volunteers and paid workers access to appropriate Veterans care Teaching programs. These key staff will work alongside medical professionals and their professional Referral systems, to ensure the veterans have access to Regionally based Allied Health Systems and can gain quick access to effective medical attention.

This includes the goal of accessibility to family social services. We recognize that the families carry the wounds of war, just as real to them as the injuries their Veteran spouses bring back with them to the family home.
